Gloucester County Library events, Feb. 7-27
The Gloucester County Library has released its events schedule for Thursday, Feb. 7 through Wednesday, Feb. 27.
• On Thursday, Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. there will be a Make your own Valentine Delight featuring a relaxing sugar scrub. According to a Gloucester County Library press release, "Loree Powell of the Nurtury presents expert advice and information on apothecary herbs and the natural benefits of these scents. Participants will have the opportunity to create a scented sugar scrub to enjoy at home."
• On Saturday, Feb. 23 at 10 a.m. there will be a Caf Espanol event featuring Gloucester's Monthly Spanish Speaking Conversation Cafe. According to the release, "Meet and connect with others who share your love of the Spanish Language. All ages and ability levels are encouraged to come and have a cup of Joe and make new amigos."
• On Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. there will be a Master Gardeners Winter Gardening Series event. According to a the release, "After retirement Shirley has put her energy into ornithology. She is a Certified Virginia Naturalist and has served as president of the Williamsburg Bird Club since 2008. She holds state and federal licenses to band songbirds and has taken part in several projects throughout the area."
The Gloucester County Public Library System promotes reading, fosters lifelong learning and provides informational, educational and cultural resources.
