Gloucester Historical Society in Virginia quarterly meeting scheduled for Jan. 27
The Gloucester Historical Society of Virginia's quarterly meeting will be held Sunday, Jan. 27 at Abingdon Episcopal Church Parish House in Gloucester.
The event will start at 2 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
According to a press release from historical society, Henry C. Spalding Jr. will speak about his book "Crab Nets and Sunsets: Recollections of Clay Bank, Virginia" at the meeting.
Abingdon Episcopal Church Parish House is at 4645 George Washington Memorial Highway, Gloucester.
