Goodman's seeking scrap silver and gold to help animal shelter
Goodman's is seeking donations for the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society.
According to an announcement from the humane society, "During the month of January, the Gloucester-Mathews-Middlesex Animal Shelter is partnering with Goodman's in Gloucester to accept donations of scrap silver and gold. So dig out that single earring, the fork that got mangled in the disposal and the ex's wedding ring—condition doesn't matter. All proceeds will benefit the animals."
Donors may bring items to Goodman's, 6871 Main St. in Gloucester, and let them know they are for the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society. Goodman's is open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesdays, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays.
For more information, call 804-694-9493.
The Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society, 6620 Jackson Lane, is open to the public 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesdays.
