Gloucester County Art Student Show now accepting applications
The Phoenix Art Group is now accepting applications for the Gloucester County Art Student Show.
According to an announcement from the Phoenix Art Group, the competition is is open to all art students in Gloucester County, whether they are in the public, private or homeschool systems. Entry guidelines and forms are available in the lobby of the Gloucester County Library, Gloucester Arts on Main at 3850 Main St., and the Parks and Recreation office.
The show will take place at Gloucester Arts on Main and will be open to the public from Tuesday, Feb. 26 through Saturday, March 9 during normal gallery hours, noon-6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
Each year, the Phoenix Art Group, a nonprofit corporation dedicated to helping art students in Gloucester County, creates a calendar for the following year using selected art from this show. The art is sold to raise money to help send a qualified senior from Gloucester County to study art at the college level.
