First Presbyterian Church of Gloucester receives grant from Lilly Endowment Inc.
First Presbyterian Church of Gloucester received a grant of $26,370 from Lilly Endowment Inc.
According to a church release, "This program enables congregations to support their pastors for an extended time of renewal and reflection, allowing them time to step back from their busy lives and gain fresh perspective and renewed energy for ministry."
"“Time and time again we hear that these renewal experiences are transformative for pastors, their families and their congregations," said N. Clay Robbins, president and CEO of Lilly Endowment Inc., in the release.
