Four candidates apply for open county school board seat

The Gloucester County School Board has announced that four candidates for the Gloucester Point District seat on the school board have submitted their letters of interest and support as of Nov. 9.

The candidates are Troy Andersen, Stuart Bunting, Brian Nichols and Tracey Ellis Turner. The candidates addressed the board at its meeting on Nov. 13 and interviews will take place on Thursday, Nov. 29. According to a press release issued by the board, a formal appointment will be made on Nov. 29.
