Gloucester High School student Perkins honored
Jessica Lynn Perkins, a Gloucester High School student, will receive the Duke of the Year award Monday, Dec. 31.
The Duke of the Year is a senior chosen by the Gloucester High faculty and staff that exemplifies the best qualities that Gloucester High has to offer.
Perkins is the executive officer of Gloucester High School's NJROTC. She is a member of the National Honor Society and is the GHS Mascot. She is also a Girls State Graduate and a recipient of both The Military Order of the Purple Heart National Organization Award and the Honor Cadet Award. She has completed over 890 hours of community service.
