Children First program scheduled for Nov. 11
The Children First class, sponsored by Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Community Services Board Prevention Services Division, will be held Sunday, Nov. 11 at the MH/SA Administration Office in Saluda.
The class will run from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Registration and payment deadline is Monday, Nov. 5. To register, visit surveymonkey.com.
Cost of the class is $50. Cash payments should be taken in person to the Prevention Services Office, 3786 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes. Money orders can be mailed to P.O. Box 452, Hayes. Personal checks are not accepted.
According to a description of the class provided by the organization, Children First is a class designed for divorcing or divorced couples to assist them to parent in a way that will positively benefit their children. Topics covered include talking with children and developing a co-parenting relationship.
