Rhythm By the River Concert Series to open Sept. 23

The premier event of the Rhythm By the River Concert Series will start at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23 at Bethany United Methodist Church, in Gloucester.

The performance will feature Hannah Magnelli, a classically trained soprano and graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. Magnelli can sing in Spanish, German, Italian, Latin and French.

The event is free and open to public.

Bethany United Methodist Church is located at 1860 Hayes Road.
