Tornado and storm relief application deadline approaches for Gloucester citizens
The Virginia Department of Emergency Management will accept relief applications from Gloucester citizens until April 30.
No applications will be accepted after the cut-off date.
The relief efforts were formed by the Virginia governor in an attempt to aid those affected by the April 2011 tornado.
Gloucester citizens affected by the tornado can submit an application to the Gloucester Emergency Services office, 6504 Main St., Gloucester.
If assistance is denied, June 30 is the deadline for appeals.
Applications for additional repairs and/or furniture are not considered appeals.
