Ruritan Club scholarship application deadline is April 24 for Gloucester students
The deadline for Gloucester High School and Gloucester County home-schooled seniors to apply for the Ruritan Club scholarship is April 24.
Students will be applying for one of two scholarships given out by the Abingdon Ruritan Club, a $4,000 award to a student who plans to attend a four-year college or university and a $2,000 award for a student who plans to attend a trade or vocational school.
Requirements and application forms can be found on the Gloucester High School website at www.ghs.gc.k12.va.us. Applications will no longer be accepted after 3 p.m. April 24. For home-schooled students, mail the application to Abingdon Ruritan Club, P.O. Box 22, Bena, VA , 23018. Application must be postmarked no later than April 24.
